Sign our ‘Citizens’ Treaty’ calling for prohibition of nuclear weapons. St Albans, Saturday 21 April, 11am-1pm

Last July 122 countries at the UN signed an historic treaty to ban nuclear weapons. The treaty will make it illegal to develop, test, produce, manufacture, acquire, possess, stockpile,
transfer, use or threaten to use nuclear weapons. Sadly the UK government, and other
nuclear armed states refused to take part. Full details on reverse of this letter.

We are collecting signatures in St Peters Street to tell the people of St Albans about this
historic treaty and alert them to the fact that our government refuses to sign. If you can help for half an hour or an hour please let us know:
We hope that the Bishop of St Albans will be joining our action.
